territories which are first-order administrative divisions. Where data on
second-order administrative divisions are available, they are indicated as well. The term
"dependencies" is used to indicate that
the country has jurisdiction over territories that are partially independent, or
autonomous, possessing some legislative, executive, and judiciary powers.
